Jumis is a name known to almost every accountant in Latvia, and it has been available on the market for several decades. Technology evolves and changes, and so does Jumis. What started as a simple accounting program has grown into a comprehensive business management solution. It includes everything you need - accounting, payroll, inventory, e-invoices, etc.
But we don't stop there. Jumis remains one of our main products, and its development continues. We have summarized the latest changes that are already available to our clients and those that are still under development:
Improvements:
- Improved and simplified Jumis integration with the e-address;
- Initial adjustments to e-invoices have been made, which will be regularly updated in accordance with the Latvian e-invoice standard guidelines.
Features introduced in 2025:
- The Jumis Envoice solution, which allows e-invoices to be sent and received not only to the e-address but also between Jumis users. In the near future, e-invoice operators will also be connected (early 2026), enabling the receipt of e-invoices from Latvia's largest service providers (e.g., in the telecommunications sector) and their exchange with companies using other accounting software;
- A new feature for accounting service providers - their clients can send and receive e-invoices via the self-service portal Jumis My Assistant. After receiving or issuing an e-invoice, it is sent to the Jumis system. Received e-invoices initially go to the company manager, who approves the compliance of the e-invoice, and only then does it reach the accountant in the Jumis system.
In development:
- Improvements in creating reconciliation statements (early 2026);
- Active work on stabilizing Jumis Online to make it available to new clients and to improve the user experience for existing users (Q1 2026);
- Enhancements to Jumis inventory and technical work on migrating the Jumis database to a newer version - ensuring improved operational stability of Jumis (2026).
Important!
Improvements and updates will be available faster and more extensively in the cloud version of Jumis compared to the local version.
