Recap: Jumis Connect Vol. 3

On June 11th, we held our third meeting with accounting service providers in Latvia, this time at the Zuzeum art center. We gathered to discuss the latest industry developments and explore ways to prioritize personal well-being, ensuring there is enough energy left at the end of the day for family and hobbies.
“It is refreshing to step out of the office, enjoy a beautiful space, exchange views with colleagues from other accounting firms, and hear insights on the accounting industry from various experts.”
As always, the program was comprehensive and covered a wide range of topics:
- Swedbank representatives Līva Zorgenfreija and Reinis Jansons provided an overview of current economic trends and forecasts. Their advice to businesses was to remain prudent with future planning while not being afraid to take the next step.
- Laura Brīvība-Dzenuška and Līga Alberliņa shared practical advice on time management techniques and process optimization, helping accountants maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- Andis Gulbis and Meldra Taube presented the various solutions offered by Jumis Pro and detailed the benefits of our partnership program.
- The event concluded with an inspiring story from mountaineer Kristīne Liepiņa, who spoke about conquering peaks and overcoming challenges.
“It is valuable for an accountant to know not only the regulations and legislation but also how to organize and improve their workflow, environment, and client relations to achieve more effective results,” noted one of the attendees.
The quality and relevance of the event are reflected in the growing number of attendees—this time, we welcomed 80 participants from various accounting firms. For the first time, we also expanded the format to include booths from our partners: iŽurnāli, Begin, DKubs, and Datorzinību centrs.
Thank you to every attendee, speaker, and partner of Jumis Connect Vol. 3 for enabling us to do more and offer more.
See you at Jumis Connect Vol. 4!
