Getting started steps
1. Technical requirements compliance
Before you begin using the Jumis cloud service, please ensure that your computer meets the technical requirements necessary for the system to operate.
2. Registration
You can use the Jumis cloud service free of charge for the first 30 days. To get started, please complete the registration form.
- Complete the registration form
It is important to provide a current email address, as this will serve as your account administrator username moving forward. - Confirm registration and the distance contract
An application confirmation will be sent to your email address. After confirming, you must enter the company name or, if you are registering as an individual, your full name. It is crucial to correctly identify the legal or natural person, as this information will be used to prepare the distance contract and license, which serve as the legal basis for using the Jumis service. By agreeing to the terms, you will receive the distance contract (it is very important to review the content of the contract, including your rights and responsibilities). - Adding a new company
Enter your company name. If you have a database backup, you may specify its location and upload it. If you do not have a backup, you do not need to select the upload option—simply click continue.
3. Installing the application
To fully utilize the Jumis cloud service for accounting and record-keeping, you must install the client environment application.
4. Regional settings
To work with the Jumis system, your regional settings must be configured correctly. The program includes an automatic regional settings feature: open the Launcher, select Tools → Configuration, and click Set regional settings.
5. Adding additional users
Every employee who will be working with the system must have their own unique username and password.
- Email address
When creating user accounts, it is important to provide a valid email address, as the user will need to confirm the account creation and complete the registration process. To ensure the security of the service, it is essential to choose a strong password and keep it confidential. - Number of users
The service only tracks concurrent users; therefore, you are welcome to create more user accounts than your license specifies, provided that the number of users working simultaneously does not exceed your licensed limit. - User rights
You can specify the actions each user is permitted to perform within the system. The system administrator holds the highest level of access. Permissions for other users can be granted as needed. The following are the sequential steps to begin working with the system:- Company information entry in Configuration
- Chart of accounts customization to company needs
- Populating product and partner catalogs. Basic information in product and partner catalogs can also be imported from an MS Excel document, provided it is prepared in a format supported by Jumis. If you wish to perform a data import, please send an email request to atbalsts@mansjumis.lv and a description will be sent to you.
1. Creating data backups

3. User setup
Once you have added the backup and clicked continue, you will be taken to the user setup window. In this window, you must provide the current email addresses for all users. For example, if a user's login was previously Ieva, their new username will be ieva@testapiemers.lv. All users will receive an email notification that they have been added to the company, and if they have not yet created a Jumis cloud account, they will need to complete the registration process.
4. Migrating Jumis People data
Once you have finished setting up the users and clicked continue, a "Company successfully added" window will appear. The next step is to migrate your Jumis People data. You can do this by following this description.
Congratulations, you have successfully migrated all company data to the Jumis cloud service. From now on, your data will be automatically backed up every 4 hours and stored in certified data centers. To work with the cloud service, select the desired section in the Jumis launcher, enter your email and password, and select the company (if your service is configured for multiple companies).
5. Adding additional users
If employees who have not previously used the software will be working with it, each employee must be assigned their own username with permissions appropriate to their role.
